Leise. Nicht sofort erkennbar. Die Überwachung überwacht sich selbst im Merkurgarten. Unsere Ohren sind nicht auf leise Töne getrimmt. Unsere Augen nicht auf Zwischentöne des Ortes. Ein kleines Rauschen im Blätterwald. Eine kleine Aufmerksamkeits Empörung. Das war es schon. Zurück zum Alltag. Die Oberfläche, der Schrei weckt uns kurz auf aus unserer Lethargie. War da was? Der gesellschaftliche Trommelwirbel hinterlässt einen Schauer auf unserem Rücken. Bis der Weckruf wieder in der Stille versinkt. Normalität wird. Auf leisen Sohlen schreiten Entwicklungen voran. Ein Kontrapunkt in die Subtilität der Installation. Das Stimmengewirr aus den Lautsprechern wird nur zu Beginn wahrgenommen. Als Soundtrack. Der Gewöhnungseffekt setzt schnell ein. Das Video, ein Fremdkörper inmitten leiser Töne und sensibler Irritationen. Nur wer schreit wird gehört. Schnelle Schnitte, agressive Musik machen aufmerksam. Schockieren. Ein Gänsehautmoment. Ein wohltuendes Gruseln. Bis der Trommelwirbel am Schluss des Videos in Stille versinkt.

Quietly. Not immediately recognizable. The monitoring monitors itself in the Merkurgarten. Our ears are not trimmed on soft sounds and our eyes not on the nuances of the place. A little noise in the leaves forest. A little attention indignation. That's it. Back to everyday life. The surface, the scream awakens us briefly from our lethargy. Was there something? The social drum roll leaves a shiver on our back. Until the wake-up call sinks again in silence, becomes normality. Developments are progressing quietly. A counterpoint to the subtlety of the installation. The babble of voices from the speakers is only perceived at the beginning. As a soundtrack. The habituation effect starts quickly. The video, a foreign body in the midst of soft sounds and sensitive irritations. Only someone who screems is heard. Fast cuts, aggressive music draws attention. Shock. A goosebump moment. A soothing scare. Until the drum roll sinks into silence at the end of the video.
